What we do

Col­lec­tif Nour­rir  leads and coor­di­nates col­lec­tive work artic­u­lat­ed around three axes.

  • Forum i.e. encour­ag­ing com­mu­ni­ca­tion and engage­ment between the non-for-prof­it stake­hold­ers on agri­cul­ture and food: 
    • fol­low French, Euro­pean and inter­na­tion­al polit­i­cal news relat­ed to agri­cul­ture and food
    • define com­mon posi­tions on the agri­cul­tur­al and food sys­tem with­in the collective
    • pro­mote the exchange of infor­ma­tion between mem­bers and between Euro­pean part­ners, as well as their capac­i­ty building
  • Advo­ca­cy i.e. pro­mote ambi­tious agri­cul­tur­al and food poli­cies for more sus­tain­abil­i­ty, jus­tice and solidarity: 
    • make sure that ideas defend­ed by Col­lec­tif Nour­rir are tak­en into account in pub­lic policies
    • improve the recog­ni­tion and the place giv­en to French civ­il soci­ety orga­ni­za­tions in the devel­op­ment of agri­cul­tur­al and food policies
  • Cit­i­zen mobi­liza­tion i.e. raise aware­ness and mobi­lize the civ­il soci­ety around issues relat­ed to agri­cul­tur­al and food policy
    • pop­u­lar­ize agri­cul­tur­al and food top­ics for the gen­er­al public
    • encour­age media cov­er­age and treatment
    • engage cit­i­zens in the devel­op­ment of agri­cul­tur­al and food policies
